SieStar – The Game Changer 2023

SieStar the winner at Junior Chamber Zeeuwsch-Vlaanderen event

During FestiBO - formerly BO2 and JK Boost - The Game Changer prize was awarded. This prize of €5,000 in cash and €10,000 in business in-kind support is for the innovation that makes the most impact on Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. The Game Changer competition gives a stage to start-ups and initiatives by presenting themselves during the FestiBO, where often between 120- 150 companies are present.

During the evening, the public could cast their votes live for the 3 finalists. The votes of the expert jury consisting of: Arjen van de Velde - Director Rabobank MKB West, Brenno de Zwart - Owner Hydrauvision and Job den Hamer - CEO Coorp ID, were included as were the 662 online votes collected in recent weeks.

SieStar B.V. which is a startup of EmergoStar andSieTec Industrial Automation BV from Terneuzen took the win. SieStar tackles the grid congestion problem with their innovation. Erwin van Assel took the prize as representative. With Erwin at the helm, they are going to turn it into a great company and offer tailor-made energy solutions in the region.
